Summary: The resort and spa property is the highlight. Beautifully manicured grounds. Lots of room to walk about. Gorgeous pool area with thatch-covered bar area. Elements is a very good restaurant. There's also The Brewery next to the convention centre -- a great place for good food and to sample a few craft beers. The golf course also has a restaurant and the course itself is a 10 minute walk from the hotel rooms. The course is in great shape and fairly priced. My caddy, Pearson, knew the game well and was a big help. The gym is first class and full of all the necessary gear with all machines well maintained and in full working order. Staff are excellent! My room was spacious and well appointed. On the downside, there were plenty of mozzies about, so some courtesy mosquito repellent should be in every room. The air conditioning rarely worked, which made sleep a bit difficult. This was compounded by periodic power outages, often at very inconvenient times. But overall -- highly recommended.
